I'm sure many U2 fans remember Edge rambling a few years ago. Hey, I'm not complaining, I thought he was hilarious going on and on, about how that year had brought them the disposable mobile phone and the orgasmatron! Yes, the scientist in the band went on a tangent, which at some point even included him mentioning something about the new addition on his house :).
What I absolutely loved about Edge's acceptance speech this year was that he said thank you to us! The fans! Of course, he was his usual eloquent self. According to Edge, 'It means a hell of a lot to us. An even more precious gift than the awards is the gift that you've all afforded us to continue to make our music.' That was sooooo sweet!! Very touching indeed!
