La Shana Tovah

So I'm a little late. I had an academic calendar which ended in August, and have not bought a new one since I finished graduate school. This is probably a sign that I need to buy one. This may explain why I haven't heard from some of my Jewish friends recently. That's the problem when you have no close Jewish friends in the area, you end up missing Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.
