Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL), came to the restaurant for dinner with his wife and kids. He introduced himself to me upon entering with a wide smile, shook my hand, and was incredibly charming. Most definitely oozing the politician vibe, which wasn't a bad thing.
His children, in their early 20s, were courteous and well-behaved. I'm not exactly sure why their friendly demeanor impressed me so much, perhaps because they seemed like a normal, happy, and well-adjusted family. That is always such a lovely sight.
No omg moments though.
